The 2021 Technical.ly Awards are here.

In Technical.ly, it also marks the time for our annual awards. We take this opportunity to reflect on the last year's work of outstanding people in our community. Although we talk to people in the community throughout the year, it feels special to pay tribute to the most shining people, companies, and ideas even in the dark. There will definitely be many in 2021.

The focus in 2020 is to respond quickly to the health, science and social changes of society. As we end 2021, we recognize that this year requires more long-term changes. This year's nomination reflects this.

We will celebrate the 2021 Technical.ly Awards on December 15th, but first, we need you, the technical community, to help us. Earlier this fall, we asked for suggestions in six categories, and the Technical.ly editorial team curated the following 30 nominees.

Who makes this community better through alliance building, non-profit work, initiatives that focus on access, policy formulation, or other means?

Which larger, faster-growing company is shaping the future of its industry?

Which empathetic leader or organizer makes their workplace or professional team more inclusive, flexible, or participatory?
